How can schools and learning environments for children and youth go global today?
My definition for Globalization and internationalization:
Globalization:
==> It's a process, mix from a lot of cultures, makes the world smaller
Internationalization:
==> A dialogue between two countries, It’s a product (so not a process)

Globalization
is a process of interaction among the people, companies and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and aides by information technology. This process has effects on the environment, culture, on political systems, on economic development and prosperity, and on human physical well –being in societies around the world
Internationalization
Has been viewed as a process of increasing involvement of enterprises in international markets, although there is no agrees definition of internationalization or international entrepreneurship. There are several internationalization theories which try to explain why there are international activities.
Reflection
The world is changeling. Look at us. 30 years ago it was not done to go to a other country for studying there. Now it's normal. So, the word get smaller and smaller. It's useful and necessary that pupils know that. It's also very easy to do in your class.
We have seen very good sites for using and helping the teacher and the children like e-Twinning. ( look to the site for more information)
But you can start small. Perhaps with clothes from the different cultures/ country's or with a food event or something like that. If the pupils START TO ASK QUESTIONS it is very good. Because if they start asking you some things than you know that the children are INTERESTING.I think that's the way to do it. Because in the class, school, everywhere there are a lot of people with a other culture.
