My opinion:
I think because Marcus is there the children do not behave the same. He does change their behavior.
The teacher asks Markus how he did it because he knows he has done it well. He's very confident.
He is one of the few teachers that no violence.
This was a discussion that punish violence is certainly something to teach. This is pure nonsense follow me! Children learn than just the feeling of fear and I do not think we as teachers want to feel it. We want children to treat each other with respect.

- they don't respect him because they sleep in his class
my opinion
This man gives lessons only to make money. The rest did not care. The students in his class show little respect to me. He is also not prepared. When he had prepared himself, he well knew that his copies are the same as those from the schoolbook.
